From the moment we began our groundwork in preparation for building this piece, our goal was to create a back bar that would stay true to late Nineteenth Century architecture.  Throughout our research, we discovered anew that Old World principles of design and proportion were found in numerous western frontier settings, and we believe that these same principles are equally relevant in contemporary woodwork.  From the stately turnings to the custom crown moulding; from the arches to the natural, vibrant beauty of Quartersawn White Oak; from each subtle curve and fluted column to every other thoughtful detail, it is with confidence we state that we accomplished this very goal!
